Federal Sales Executive

Location:  Vienna, VA
Reports to:  CEO

Description:

The Federal Sales Executive will be responsible for growing sales levels for our consulting services to   Federal in the sector, specifically in the Washington, D.C. Maryland, Virginia. This role will identify and capitalize upon opportunities to penetrate the Federal market.

Responsibilities:
  • Exceed annual revenue quota
  • Meet agreed upon Sales and Business Objectives
  • Generate new leads within territory
  • Establish new strategic partnerships to support sales business
Goals:
  • Exceed sales quota
  • Create and execute a territory growth plan
  • Manage the development of RFP responses  
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIERMENTS:
  • 5-10 years of experience in selling IT and/or Management Consulting services to the federal government; experience selling project management services to organizational executives and PMOs a plus.
  • Experience selling $500K opportunities.
  • Executive presence with CXO-level, program office, and/or senior Command positions
  • Strong closing skills and a proven track record
  • Consultative approach to customer relationship management
  • Ability to work with multiple partners in order to sell a complete solution
  • Demonstrated experience marketing and building revenues for a consulting organization
  • Ability to manage resources from multiple groups to meet client needs
  • Experience developing and managing the SOW & RFP response process
  • Understanding of the Federal procurement lifecycle
  • Outstanding written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong PC skills including use of web-based CRM software, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work closely with delivery teams on solution qualification, development, and closure.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Marketing or Finance with 5-7 years of related experience in Management or Technology Consulting.
  • 3-5 years of leadership and management experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a consulting organization.
